I have been in the field since 2005, working with children in school based, community based, and home based settings. I have worked with children from birth to age 21. 

Education:

Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from North Park University Chicago, IL.
Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Rush University Medical Center Chicago, IL.

What I do:

I provide intervention to children who have, or at at risk of having, developmental delays and are experiencing difficulty functioning in the following areas:

visual motor skills (handwriting, drawing, coloring, and cutting)

fine motor skills (grasping and manipulating materials)

sensory processing (ability to organize and interpret information we receive through our senses)

play/leisure skills (ability to engage and interact with adults and children appropriately)

self care skills (eating, dressing, bathing, grooming)

attention/regulation of behavior (being able to maintain attention to task at school and at home)
